More schools use CS&A than any other recruitment firm. Since its inception, CS&A has worked successfully with over 1,500 schools in 46 states and 26 countries internationally to provide the most exceptional recruitment and consulting services available.


School year 2007-08 is shaping up to be the most successful year for CS&A in the firm's thirty year history – we have more schools using our services, and more candidates registered with us than ever before.

The staff of CS&A knows schools. Each year we visit hundreds of campuses across the country, maintaining personal connections with a broad network of hiring administrators and school leaders. We work with schools of all types, including coeducational and single sex, independent and charter, day and boarding, urban, suburban and rural, secular and denominational.

We also know our candidates. Through interviews, hiring conferences, college visits and a comprehensive application process, we learn the specific details of each candidate’s search, including experience, subject area expertise, geographic preferences, and coaching and extracurricular interests.

Our staff is steeped in the culture of independent schools. The Search Group, comprised of former Heads of School and other search professionals, represents some of the most influential and knowledgeable educators in the K-12 school community. And our Placement Group, a collection of both experienced placement associates and recent college graduates, includes former teachers, administrators and independent school alumni.
