Building the Future Leadership of Independent Schools
In the next decade, 70% of independent school leaders will retire. The National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS) Fellows Program, initially funded by the EE Ford Foundation, is devoted to training and mentoring the aspiring leaders of tomorrow. The NAIS Fellowship program is a one-year professional development program for individuals at National Association of Independent Schools member institutions who wish to become heads of independent schools. Through programming, mentorship, and a school project, Fellows develop their own leadership styles, learn key issues and skills, and develop a strong networkCS&A understands the need to develop tomorrow’s educational leaders today.
