General Information

What are FORUM and LINK conferences?
CS&A conferences are recruitment events where hiring schools interview job-seeking candidates. FORUM conferences take place in the same four cities each year, whereas the four-day LINK conference is held in conjunction with the annual conference of the National Association of Independent Schools (which changes its location every year).

Who comes to conferences? On the candidate side, only active CS&A candidates may attend. In order to become an active candidate with CS&A, you must fill out the online application. On the school side, depending on the conference, anywhere from 70 to 500 school representatives will attend.

What are my chances of success in coming to conferences? Over the last 23 years, thousands of job-seeking candidates have been hired by schools as a direct or indirect result of a CS&A hiring conference. Our experience has been that the majority of candidates who attend one or more conferences find them to be extremely helpful in their search for a teaching or administrative position. Collectively, more schools attend CS&A conferences than any other hiring events in the country.
That said, there are also candidates who attend and have disappointing results - either empty interview schedules or interviews that do not yield invitations back to the school(s) of their choice. We make no guarantees about the results of attending a conference.
